Course title: Communicating, Negotiating, and Presenting   
Duration: In-house, according to your requirements and the availability of your people. As a public course, 5 days.

Objectives:

  • Plan and deliver two presentations
  • Use slides to communicate key points
  • Structure your messages to make them easy to remember
  • Negotiate effectively for a "win-win" outcome
  • Plan for negotiations using a set process
  • Explain the fundamentals of communication -- how it works and why it sometimes fails
  • Communicate clearly with members of your workgroup or team
  • Identify and overcome common challenges to communicating at work
  • Evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses and make plans for overcoming them

In-course activities:

  • Deliver two presentations (videotaped)
  • Take part in practice negotiations
  • Participate in interactive communication tasks
  • Watch video scenarios
  • Discuss case studies
Communication and Interpersonal Skills

* Learn how to understand other people and communicate successfully with them

Course title: Communication and Interpersonal Skillls   
Duration: In-house, according to your requirements and the availability of your people. As a public course, 5 days.

Objectives:

  • Explain communication -- how the process works, and where it can break down
  • Listen actively, and use listening to understand others and help them understand you
  • Describe common communication problems, their causes, and how to solve them
  • Analyse yourself and other people -- behaviour, personality and motivation
  • Compare different communication styles and choose those which are more successful in different situations
  • Communicate informational and interpersonal messages, using feedback and suitable language
  • Use body language and gestures to be understood
  • Advise others on how to communicate and work with others more effectively
  • Use negotiation skills to reach agreement and solve problems

In-course activities:

  • Practice communicating in groups and pairs
  • Analyse situations in videos and case studies
  • Evaluate themselves, their behaviour, motivation and personal characteristics
  • Participate in group problem-solving activities
  • Practice negotiating and resolving conflict
Communication and Team Building

* Learn to communicate and make your team more effective

Course title: Communication and Team Building   
Duration: In-house, according to your requirements and the availability of your people. As a public course, 5 days.

Objectives:

  • Use communication to help increase teamwork and lead teams
  • Formulate and state team objectives clearly, so that other team members understand them
  • Conduct team briefings so that all members know their tasks, deadlines, processes and other important points
  • Build team spirit by encouraging and assisting others to overcome challenges and carry out team tasks successfully
  • Help others by understanding their behaviour, their motivation, and strengths and weaknesses
  • Change your behaviour to suit the team, the task, and your own part in the task
  • Listen actively to improve communication, and avoid assuming
  • Lead your team when necessary, using a suitable leadership style
  • Evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses as a team member, and improve your contribution

  • Practice communicating in groups and pairs
