Pacific Consulting Services is
based in the United Arab Emirates. We specialize
in technical communication, and training and instructional
design. Since we started we have developed customised
training courses, and provided technical writing
services around the Gulf.
This year we are strengthening our Gulf presence,
and extending our services to clients in North America
and Asia.
We maintain a qualified, experienced staff. Their
expertise gives us a unique set of competencies.

Peter steers the company he founded in
2000. He has over 15 years experience in
training and development and writing. He
has lived in the Gulf since 1990, training
and working with Gulf nationals. Before
founding Pacific, Peter worked as a contractor
and adviser to the UAE Armed Forces, where
he was responsible for developing and implementing
training programmes. |

Jan is in charge of producing course materials,
multimedia products and technical documents.
Jan has an IT background, and worked as
a programmer before working with Pacific. |

Neil has worked as a contractor and consultant
in many parts of the world. He has
trained Gulf nationals, Indian and Russian
personnel in different technical fields.
For the past year, he has worked with Pacific
as a technical consultant. Neil is a qualified
quality assessor, and has participated
in ISO documentation projects, operating
procedures and related projects. He has
over 25 years experience in industry. |

Anand has over 7 years experience in project planning, technical and policy documentation. His work includes functional specifications manuals, help files and user manuals, using tools such as Macromedia Robohelp or Help & Manual. |

Alvin has worked as an application systems
developer and has more than 8 years experience
in technical writing, software development, and website
design and development. Alvin is experienced in the
use of different computer languages, platforms, and
related technologies.
He also designed, developed, and currently maintains
the Pacific Web sites. |

Astrid supervises administrative staff, coordinating work flow and various office support services. She researches data, proofreads documents, tracks sales progress. Also prepares and controls administration budgets. |

Ella has an engineering background and 10 years marketing experience in the Gulf, dealing with the Oil & Gas sector and government organisations.
Ella is responsible for marketing Pacific's
in-company training courses. |

Ellen assists in the general preparation
of training materials and helps deliver
all post-training requirements to the clients.
She formats printed materials, prepares
end-of-course CDs containing the training
manual, presentor's slides and videos of
the training courses. She also helps prepare
course-end reports, certificates of training,
and other requirements for the training
courses. |
